ACEBEAM announced the official launch of the Terminator M1 2.0, the next-generation evolution of its award-winning dual-head LEP/LED flashlight concept. Building on the success of the original Terminator M1—which earned Best In Show at SHOT Show 2025—the M1 2.0 delivers significant upgrades in output, beam control, runtime, and tactical versatility.
A Multi-Light System
Zoomable LEP: The zoomable LEP (Laser-Excited Phosphor) module delivers an astonishing beam reach of 1,620 meters with 656,100 candela, enabling long-range precision targeting and search capabilities that rival much larger systems. The LEP beam is adjustable from 3.1° to 23°, allowing users to transition seamlessly from an ultra-narrow spotlight to a wider beam.
LED: Complementing the LEP thrower is a powerful 3,900-lumen LED floodlight, up from 3,500 lumens in the previous generation. The flood beam has been optimized for a wider spread, making it ideal for close-quarters illumination, campsite setup, and ground-level navigation.
New LEP+LED Combo Mode: Perhaps the most significant functional upgrade is the introduction of the LEP+LED combo mode. Users can activate both light sources simultaneously, pairing far-reaching spotlight performance with practical close-range flood lighting. This mode minimizes blind spots and enhances situational awareness while maintaining visibility of their immediate environment.
Tactical Red Light: The M1 2.0 also integrates a dedicated tactical red light with multiple brightness levels and strobe support. Red light preserves night vision, reduces visual disturbance, avoids attracting insects, and supports low-visibility operations, making it an essential feature for tactical professionals, hunters, and nighttime campers alike.
Redesigned Controls for Instant Access
A new magnetic control ring on the rear of the flashlight enables quick, intuitive switching between five main modes: Lockout, LEP, LED, Red Light, and LEP+LED Combo. An additional tactical tail switch provides instant Turbo access from any light mode, ensuring maximum output is always available at a moment's notice. The control ring also includes a locking function to prevent accidental activation during transport or storage.
Extended Runtime and Field-Ready Power
Powering the Terminator M1 2.0 is a high-capacity 21700 5600mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery is replaceable, allowing users to carry a spare and swap to full power instantly, no waiting for recharging. Runtime figures are impressive: in LED Ultra-Low mode, the flashlight can run for up to 9.5 days. A built-in battery level indicator lets users check remaining power at a glance.
Built to Withstand the Harshest Environments
Durability has been engineered to the highest standards. The flashlight body is constructed from AL6061-T6 high-quality aluminum alloy with a HA III hard-anodized, anti-abrasive, and corrosion-resistant finish. It is rated IP68, fully dustproof and submersible to 2 meters (6.5 feet) for up to 30 minutes. The robust construction withstands 1-meter drop tests. A new solid metal USB-C charging port cover replaces the previous design for enhanced long-term protection against dust and moisture.
