Finally someone came up with a laser flashlight like the W10 Pro that has simple controls and momentary turbo, which is simply UNBELIEVABLE!. The two stage tail switch gives half press for instant turbo on the powerful LEP module hitting 1400m throw, perfect for tactical situations without any mode fumbling. Full press locks it in, double click for strobe, making it dead reliable and intuitive. The W10 Pro uses this interface absolutely perfectly with high sustained output, USB-C charging, and compact 21700 design that goes anywhere. This is how every LEP light should be built.
This is my first experience with an LED Flashlight and let me tell you - I was totally blown away. The beam profile is just so clean and for it's size the throw is just unbelievable. I don't know how Acebeam dows it. The only downside I can think of, if you can call it that, is that you don't really have any spill for walking. Then again, this is not its purpose, so I can't really fault it!
The formfactor is just perfect to carry it around all day.
I am really pleased with my W10 Pro LEP flashlight, it meets/exceeds my high expectations! I Love the cool white beam that has no artifacts, unlike virtually all other competing lights. The beam is perfectly sized and has exceptional focus and clarity in my opinion. I appreciate the excellent UI/switch and how they operate. The size, feel, look, and weight are outstanding as well. Even the holster is of the highest quality, rugged and fits really well.
The new W10 Pro is impressively compact. Even though I usually prefer big, powerful LEPs, this one makes a lot of sense. It’s small enough to carry all the time, without thinking about it. I still get that clean LEP beam, but in a form factor I can actually have on me every day. No matter how much I like large LEPs, this is the one I can always have with me. Very good slelf defense light!
The size of the light and head are very pocketable. It's very well built. I don't know if the other w10 filters fit the pro or not so I haven't ordered them. It's a big jump in power compared to the other lep lights I have. You can feel the heat in the beam like none of my others. At long distances it's got a usable size hotspot and not as a dramatic cut off around the edges. I prefer the acebeam 21700 with the type c charging and power bank function, but this comes with one that only charges in the light with the hidden type c port. If you want an lep for a defense/tactical purpose this is a great choice.
Great light, the light concentration is so intense, has little to no spill, which was exactly was I was looking for as I work in event security (fit for purpose), but it’s a very robust torch, bit pricey I got it on the initial sale, but can’t fault it.
