May I know the LED types of M2-X? Does ACEBEAM offer LED replacement service?
TWO LED options:

ACEBEAM does not offer LED replacement service currently, and please do not replace the LEDs privately, as doing so may affect product performance or cause damage to the product.

How to get started?

What kind of battery can be used in M1 and how to install?
It is recommended to use an ACEBEAM 18650 USB-C rechargeable Li-ion battery (included).

Note:  While installing the battery, make sure the battery is inserted with the positive (+) end pointing to the head of the flashlight.

How to operate?

Side Switch • Floodlight & Spotlight exchange When the light is ON, single-click the Side Switch to exchange. • Mix Mode When the light is ON, quickly double-click the Side Switch to enter Mix mode (floodlight & spotlight simultaneously light up) • RGB mode When the light is ON, press and hold the side Switch to cycle through.

Tail Power Switch • ON/OFF: Single click • Output Selection: with the Floodlight is ON, press and hold the switch to cycle through Low-Med1-Med2-High, and release the switch to select the mode. • Turbo: with the Floodlight is ON, double-click, and double-click again to switch between Turbo and the memorized mode. • Strobe: Triple-click • Moonlight: under floodlight option, when the light is OFF, long press the switch for about 0.5s

Does it have Low-voltage warning?
Yes, with the samp switched ON, and the voltage drop below 10%, the lamp is programmed to Low, to remind you to charge/replace the battery. When the 18650 battery voltage drops below 2.7V, the lamp will turn OFF automatically.

How to prevent accidental activation?
When the light is OFF, press and hold the tail power switch for 3s.

How to unlock?
When the light is locked, press and hold the tail power switch for 3s.

Is it waterproof?
Yes, it is IP68 rated. Tough enough to support you in every moment.

A little powerhouse!

I’ve said it before about other Acebeams, but the Terminator M2-X with RGB is an absolute bomb. This compact dual head beast packs 3200 lumens flood plus 900 lumen spotlight reaching 500 meters, giving you insane versatility in one 18650 light. The RGB aux lights are super fun and practical for signaling, with seven colors that actually work well without beam artifacts. The UI with dual switches is smart for quick access to flood, spot, mixed mode, or RGB, and the build feels premium with great thermal performance. What a powerhouse.

Terminator M2-X

Very happy i got this light. The size and shape make it great in hand and very pocketable. The excellent smooth, even flood beam is excellent just like my E70 Mini Ti, both with 519a’s, and very probably the same TIR optic?! I very much like the UI and mode spacing overall. The spot beam is very clean and like the size of it, not too broad, or narrow, just right I say!

Smart idea done right

Smart idea done right: one light with a wide flood beam and a focused spot beam, and you can even run both together when needed. The UI is simple and the light manages heat sensibly (expect quick stepdowns on turbo, then stable output).Downside is that it’s noticeably chunkier/heavier than a normal EDC (around 200 g with battery), so it’s more “jacket pocket” than “tiny jeans light.”

A luxury flashlight

This new upgrade is even better. Despite the fact that the shape seemed strange to me, it fits perfectly in the hand and fits perfectly in the pocket. Physically, the lockout is done by gently turning the battery cover. For me, a luxury flashlight

There’s a lot to love here

I got this using a military discount which brought the price down significantly, almost $100- that being said- I’m not compensated to write this review.

This light, to me fits in the same category as the “Cool Fall Spy” with its design. I love the way it looks. Very very simple- focus knob on the LEP, 2 buttons to control the LEDs, brightness, lockout, turbo, strobe. Very very well thought out.
The light feels good in the hand, little heft to it but not enough to be a problem- just right. I got the new “marble” MAO and it is very very similar to the FFL “Fossil Grey” which I love. They did a great job here as well, albeit this color is a bit lighter and not quite as glossy feeling as the FFL, so between FFL vs AB, FFL wins, but only barely- and that’s a high compliment if you know how good that “fossil” mao is over there at FFL- pretty much best I’ve seen.
The LEP works perfectly, the zoom function works very very well. It has a satisfying action to the knob which makes a hint of noise and has a touch of feedback, making it a tactile experience. The LEDs (I opted for the Nichia 519) aren’t very rosy or very bright. They appear to use TIR optics, giving the Nichias a very floodgates output. It is almost certainly at 90 CRI, but next to other, hand selected or FFL emitters, they appear cold. I don’t think you’d notice it unless you were holding it next to another high CRI beam but it’s something to be aware of if you’re hoping for super warm (or super bright). You won’t find either with the Nichia’s offered here.
Besides the emitters being a bit disappointing, the light itself is not terribly bright. I tried it with 2 different batteries- the acebeam brand it came with and a vapcell P50. The performance appeared similar to my eye. The LED isn’t terribly bright and neither is the LEP. I was slightly disappointed here. I had hopes this would smoke my Marauder Mini but without testing it, I don’t think it could. The LEP isn’t as bright as the Lumintop  Thor I for example. That being said- it puts off a good amount of light given its form factor.

Bottom line: for $220-$250 I think this is an extremely cool offering from acebeam. I’d love to see more LEP products in general and this is really cool as it combines a decent flood light with a decent LEP in an AWESOME form factor. The material and build quality are on fleek, it also comes with a charging cable, wrist strap and a small pouch to keep the light in. The biggest thing missing here is the ability to operate both sides of the light at once. If that was possible, this would be 5 star. I would’ve also liked to see more lumens, or candela- the output just isn’t enough to get me excited. That said, I do love it and the form factor and unique character does a lot for me, as does the nice paint job. So 4/5

Unique and universal

Great light, very functional flood and a more useful thrower than a LEP flashlight. Even though they are not for eliminating an area the RGB party lights are kind of fun. I would definitely recommend this light and for the price it’s a good deal. Has nice feel in your hand in a small enough that you could keep it in your pocket.
