Terminator M1 Dual Head LEP/LED Flashlight

This is such a unique flashlight, in fact this is still the only flashlight in the world with zoomable LEP + LED setup. I am super impressed with the output for both and It is the most useful flashlight in my collection. I would highly recommend anyone to buy this flashlight.

The Terminator M1 is a dual-engine marvel that satisfies the "flood vs. throw" debate once and for all. On one side, you have a gorgeous triple Nichia 519A array (High-CRI) for a wall of natural light; on the other, a zoomable LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) that reaches a staggering 1,600 meters.

For the enthusiast, the "joy of use" comes from the mechanical zoom ring and the dedicated toggle switch. It feels like a high-end sci-fi gadget—dense, perfectly machined, and capable of shifting from a wide, rosy flood to a surgical "light saber" beam in seconds. It’s a specialized masterpiece that turns every night walk into a technical experience.

M1 is a fantastic hybrid LEP/LED flashlight that quickly became one of the most fun and versatile lights in my collection. The form factor is very compact for a 21700 dual-head design, and the build quality, anodizing, and machining all feel premium in the hand.​
The zoomable LEP head throws a ridiculously tight, clean beam to well over a kilometer, while the triple LED side (especially with Nichia 519A) gives a bright, useful flood with great color rendering for closer work. Switching between LEP and LED is intuitive thanks to the dual side switches.
On the downside, you cannot run LEP and LED at the same time, which would be amazing for combining throw and flood like in the M2, and the light is a bit heavy for true pocket EDC, especially with the included 21700 cell. Still, if you want a single light that can act as both a long‑range laser beam and a practical close‑range flooder, the Terminator M1 is in its own class

Ive bought another one , because the first was lost for a moment , either accidently drop from my belt ( with minor modification ) using motorcycle to commute , but actually misplaced. and its almost 1 year in a daily use ,  It help me for daily work in technical task , the adjustable  lep zoom funtion assist me alot to pin point certain object to friends or contractors , to look under water tank floor , and others , the flood light is amazing and the durability its amazing , drops , humid enviroment, the 2nd purchase which has Nichia led , it help me to enhance the colour in photoshoot using phone , just on the flood light beam on a ceiling and let the light bounce , and make the photo looks good , i hope Acebeam M1 has a brighter more powerful lep , with same terminator M1 funtions and to add Beacon light funtion   which currently just Strobes.

Ended up gifting the Acebeam TM1(Grey) to an employee. Bought another one. As is usual, The quality and workmanship were immaculate. Acebeam delivered again a superior and unrivaled product again at the right price point. Delivery took one week to North America, that is very fast. I highly recommend the Terminator M1 series the only flash light that has manged to combine an LEP with a functional zoom, and an LED.  A superb technical prowess pleasing to the senses.

I got this using a military discount which brought the price down significantly, almost $100- that being said- I’m not compensated to write this review.

This light, to me fits in the same category as the “Cool Fall Spy” with its design. I love the way it looks. Very very simple- focus knob on the LEP, 2 buttons to control the LEDs, brightness, lockout, turbo, strobe. Very very well thought out.
The light feels good in the hand, little heft to it but not enough to be a problem- just right. I got the new “marble” MAO and it is very very similar to the FFL “Fossil Grey” which I love. They did a great job here as well, albeit this color is a bit lighter and not quite as glossy feeling as the FFL, so between FFL vs AB, FFL wins, but only barely- and that’s a high compliment if you know how good that “fossil” mao is over there at FFL- pretty much best I’ve seen.
The LEP works perfectly, the zoom function works very very well. It has a satisfying action to the knob which makes a hint of noise and has a touch of feedback, making it a tactile experience. The LEDs (I opted for the Nichia 519) aren’t very rosy or very bright. They appear to use TIR optics, giving the Nichias a very floodgates output. It is almost certainly at 90 CRI, but next to other, hand selected or FFL emitters, they appear cold. I don’t think you’d notice it unless you were holding it next to another high CRI beam but it’s something to be aware of if you’re hoping for super warm (or super bright). You won’t find either with the Nichia’s offered here.
Besides the emitters being a bit disappointing, the light itself is not terribly bright. I tried it with 2 different batteries- the acebeam brand it came with and a vapcell P50. The performance appeared similar to my eye. The LED isn’t terribly bright and neither is the LEP. I was slightly disappointed here. I had hopes this would smoke my Marauder Mini but without testing it, I don’t think it could. The LEP isn’t as bright as the Lumintop  Thor I for example. That being said- it puts off a good amount of light given its form factor.

Bottom line: for $220-$250 I think this is an extremely cool offering from acebeam. I’d love to see more LEP products in general and this is really cool as it combines a decent flood light with a decent LEP in an AWESOME form factor. The material and build quality are on fleek, it also comes with a charging cable, wrist strap and a small pouch to keep the light in. The biggest thing missing here is the ability to operate both sides of the light at once. If that was possible, this would be 5 star. I would’ve also liked to see more lumens, or candela- the output just isn’t enough to get me excited. That said, I do love it and the form factor and unique character does a lot for me, as does the nice paint job. So 4/5

I bought this as I like the design and just how unique it is. Ordered mine in OD Green with 519A leds and it looks just like the pictures.
Shipping took a few weeks but not too bad.

LED color is really nice, the LEP is super bright but I was a bit dissapointed on the LED brightness as I was expecting more to be honest.

I normally don't leave product reviews, I'm lazy, but in this case I made the extra effort to do so because the product M1 Terminator is Amazing! I did a lot of research before buying this. Words and pictures do not do it justice. Simply, a marvel of engineering. Complex, yet very easy operate. Has a very solid feel. Well packaged with it's own hard plastic protective case enveloped with bubble and cardbiard it arrived to North America within two weeks. That is very fast. Thank you Acebeam for a wonderful product! To anyone wondering and sitting on the fence, don't wait! It's worth every penny get it while it lasts.

Is it possible to produce M1 or a similar one with clip? Thanks

Toutes les façons d'éclairer sont idéalement regroupées dans ce Terminator M1 ! C'est un véritable plaisir de passer d'un mode à un autre avec dans ceux-ci un choix d'intensité et de couverture de surface et de volume très important. ( le réglage zoom de la Lep est étonnant ! ). Evidemment ,  toujours la même qualité de fabrication et de finition propre à Acebeam et une forme originale qui tient bien en main. Le seul petit reproche serait l'absence de témoin de position LED /LEP avant la mise en fonction. Pas très grave. Encore toutes mes félicitations pour ce beau produit !

One of the most versatile lights on the market. Excellent build quality, excellent beam quality. Also, when considering the price of buying both a 21700 floodlight flashlight and an LEP flashlight, you come to the realization that the price of the M1 Terminator is a very good value. Highly recommended.

Extremely well designed and thought-out light, very unique and nothing else like it. Considering the cost of a 21700 LED flashlight and an LEP together, the price of the M1 is very fair. Best new light in a very long time.

This light is so much fun! The spotlight, being zoomable, is actually more useful than I thought it would be. It's still not carry-friendly light, due to its size and Wright, but its much better than most LEPs, and it has the triple light to make it much more useful than most!

J'aime sortir la nuit et faire du sport en nocturne ! Avant je prenais deux lampes maintenant, j'en prend qu'une car elle est double !
Avantages :
- légère, cela ne gène pas de la prendre en permanence avec soi !
- Forme rectangle, le top ne bouge pas en poche et en plus assez courte pour renter dans les poches les plus petites ! bravo ACBEAM !
- batterie de 5000mha donc longue autonomie bien vu ACEBEAM !
- Utilisation LED 3500 lumen Max largement suffisant pour un faisceau large en blanc très blanc, le mode LED est sympa pour la promenade !
Les trois LED combinées ont gros avantage, cela chauffe 3 fois moins qu'une seul LED à puissance égale, BON CHOIX technique !
- Utilisation LEP 700 lumen LASER BLANC FROID, un blanc pure ce qui est rare en LEP, BRAVO
Le ZOOM LEP est précis et ne bave pas, pas de fuite de lumière encore une fois, j'ai jamais vus ça , c'est impeccable BRAVO !
- Le bouton pour permuter très bonne idée ! Pratique instinctif bien pensée !
( Dommage qu'on puisse pas allumer les LED et la LEP en même temps ! ) Mais je pense que la batterie n'aimerais pas vu les deux puissances !!!

(Too bad we can't turn on the LEDs and the LEP at the same time!) But I think the battery wouldn't like it given the two powers!!!
