The P18 is a tactical anomaly. Utilizing four SFT40 LEDs, it produces a staggering 5,000 lumens with a 629-meter reach. While its brother (the P17) offers a clean, single-emitter beam, the P18 creates a massive "wall of light" with a unique clover-leaf spill that saturates your entire periphery.
For enthusiasts, the draw is the hidden USB-C port—integrated behind a protective threaded collar—and the distinct paddle-switch tail UI. It feels substantial, heavy-duty, and purposefully over-engineered. If you want a "do-it-all" tactical light that combines extreme flood with surprising punch, the P18 is the heavy-hitter of the family.
As a dedicated hunter, the P18 has my full endorsement, its powerful throw gives you confidence to ID targets far out without spooking anything nearby. The build screams durability for rough terrain, and runtime keeps you in the game longer. Acebeam quality shines here; it's become my go-to for serious pursuits.
The brutal output of the Acebeam P18 is a sight to behold! I have just tried it at my friends place and the whole yard lit up.
I also enjoy the dual tail switch as well as the integrated charging port, that is covered up by the screw on collar. I would love to see something like this in more lights ;)
I only wished the UI would allow for an instant Turbo instead of high mode, Please!
Acebeam can make some truly incredible lights. They are very well known for their quality and engineering. I truly love this light, but I cannot begin to tell you how much trouble I had to go through with the P18. I have spent many months testing and diagnosing a product I spent a considerable amount of money on (four were purchased for the family along with back-up batteries and a charger). All four have been sent out for repair two months ago with no response from ACEBEAM. It has been nearly five months of frustration now.
The flashlight itself is nearly as impressive as the L35 that I reviewed on this site -a truly remarkable achievement. However, it has one fatal flaw. As one reviewer on this site already mentioned, the parasitic drain is among the worst. If I place a fully charged flashlight in my drawer for two weeks and the battery loses 15% of power or the light doesn't turn on at all, there is something seriously wrong. How can I trust such a product in an emergency and especially with my family?
Until the flaws are corrected and quality control properly executed, the P18 will get no more than two stars from me. At this point in time I would honestly prefer a replacement with another model (L35) as opposed to a repair. Acebeam, fix this otherwise incredible light. It deserves proper attention. And finally, get your customer service in order--it was once among the best.
Brutal brightness and built-in charging make this beast really useful. SFT40 is my favourite anyway, and 4x here! Fantastic.
It’s a beast !this small to medium sized light is built like a tank and lights up everything in its path, it has good runtimes, the only thing it’s missing is instant turbo
Delivery was very efficient took 8 days to reach the U.K.

Just Received this today and ordered it on BF. I did take a month to get here, but well worth it. The Closest comparison would be the L35 with Lattice LED. But the P18 does throw amazing for it size and also gives a good flood at the same time! Where this exceeds from the L35 "Lattice" is the functionality. Only draw back is that there is no mode that has instant turbo function to go right into, unless memory of last mode used was that. using mode 2 has no turbo function at all. Mode 1 makes function switch strobe I never use. There needs to be 1 more mode in my opinion. Mode 3- Medium - Turbo - hold for ultra low. or a least make a double click function for turbo from the function button.
I always like a quick turbo button option, not cycling through only passing it not sure if it was high or turbo.
Anyways all and all I like the L35 a bit more for its simple functionality, The Lattice LED is amazing in my opinion.
Acebeam if you are listening, If you came out with the same flash light as the X75 design, but for the LED's use the SBT-90.2 Im all in :) "you can do it!!"
