Great flashlight great modes
The Acebeam Terminator M2 is one of the most versatile compact flashlights I’ve used. It combines a powerful spotlight and a wide, floody work light in a single, rugged body—making it equally useful for outdoor adventures, emergencies, or everyday tasks.
As expected from Acebeam, the build quality is excellent. The aluminum body feels solid and premium, with perfect machining and anodizing. The buttons are tactile and well placed, and the magnetic tailcap is a great touch—it sticks securely to metal surfaces, which is very handy for hands-free use.
The M2 offers two light sources: a focused main LED and a side floodlight. The main beam is surprisingly intense for its size, reaching impressive distances with a clean, defined hotspot. The floodlight, on the other hand, provides a soft, even illumination—ideal for close-up work, camping, or as an emergency lamp.
Switching between modes is intuitive once you get used to the dual-button interface, and the brightness levels are well spaced. The high CRI option for the floodlight produces very natural colors, which I really appreciate for close-range tasks.
It runs on a single 18650 rechargeable battery (included) and charges via a USB-C port. Charging is quick and convenient, and the power indicator LED helps track battery status. Runtime is impressive, especially on medium modes.
At around palm size, it’s compact but not tiny—just right for a solid grip. The dual-button system allows quick access to both light sources independently, though it may take a bit of practice to memorize the combinations.
The Acebeam Terminator M2 is a highly practical hybrid light that blends the performance of a tactical flashlight with the convenience of a work lamp. It’s tough, powerful, and thoughtfully designed. Whether you’re using it outdoors, in your car, or around the house, it’s an all-in-one lighting tool that rarely feels like a compromise.
Merci.
Really fantastic bit of kit, love the way it handles use it daily on my walks during the night into the dark woods.
Very fast delivery to London UK - Very impressed with the service . Thanks AceBeam.
Most versatile light on the market. Easily pocketable, excellent build quality, excellent beam quality. Highly, highly recommended.
Love the M line of Acebeam. I have M1 and M2.
M2 has a perfect form factor, instant access to high throw in its optic option and a really good tint in Led (throw option) despite de high CRI option in flood optics (very recomended)
It’s good for EDC, no competition with throw of M1 but M2 has advantajes in size and form.
I love both and congratulations for Acebeam, really good job on this M line. Waiting for nexts…
Form factor is superb, direct and instant access to high mode in throw. GREAT tint of led (throw optic) and really cool features in compact size and reasonable size. Can’t compare with M1 in throw but is a really must have for me. Love both, my favourite pocket flashlights with lot of options in beam patterns. WELL DONE ACEBEAM! High CRI VERY RECOMENDED
Size is just right, small enough to easily fit in a pocket, big enough to be gripped properly.
Clip is properly sturdy and also easy to use because of the tips shape.
Finishing quality feels very good.
UI is easy to learn and intuitive, escpecially the mode switch makes it hassle free and instantaneous to change from flood to spot, and it also feels pretty nice and tactile to flip.
Flood is as bright as you would ever need from a pocket light and the size of the spot is just about perfect for everyday use.
Only thing I might change is the position of the main switch to be next to the mode switch, but I dont know if that would be technically even possible without compromising the perfect size. Regardless you can still quite easily use it with only one hand.
All in all It's a well thought out little package. If they ever decide to release some cool special color options I'm sure to buy another one.
