The package includes most of what’s needed but not battery’s so you have to complete with Three 18650’s. Acebeam recommend their 20A 3100 mAh protected battery's.

Available functions
All basic functions inclusive direct access to low mode is there.
There is also a battery indicator in place:
Green: more than 10.5V
Constant red: 10.5V to 9.5V
Flashing red: Less than 9.5 V
The flashlight also turns off when the battery voltage is less than 8.5V.
The voltage indication led is running all the time so you can continuously se the battery's voltage status.
I should have liked a to have built-in charging possibility, with a USBC charging function on the light, and also a possibility to use the flashlight as a power bank.

Light performance
Very bright 5 500 Lumens/262 144 candela rated. (And my unprofessional measurements confirm those values). That gives a calculated distance throw for 374 m. In total impressing performance for this size of light!

Light "quality"
The K30 is a little to the flood side but have a good balance between flood and throw. It has a large hot spot, and a lot of spills at the same time. This combination makes it very suitable to use in most situations. The led is a XHP 70.2 and you can buy it with the colour temperature 5 000 K or 6 000 K.

Runtime
Runtimes is fairly good, for example Acebeam clems 4 hours of runtime when using the level High (1 350 lumens)
A little more runtime should have being possible if the battery size 21700 were used instead of 18650. Of course, the flashlight should have being somewhat larger and heavier then.

Ease to use
The different flashlight functions are easy to understand and use, expect for the need of double click two times a row to get the maximum output, the "Turbo max" function.
Extra plus for the excellent electronic steal manoeuvre button, it feels precise and exact. It is also relatively easy to find even in the dark, especially if you use the fact that the button is placed directly on the opposite side of the lanyard attachment hole.

Form factor
With its length of 120.2 mm (4.7") and a bezel diameter of 48 mm (1.9") is this high-performance flashlight even pocketable, if you have a jacket with reasonable large pockets that is. Probably hard to make a flashlight with this kind of performance much smaller and lighter. You need a certain mass to take away the heat generated from its high performance led….

Build quality/finish
Very nice looks and finish. Perfectly cantered led. A great quality feeling in this flashlight, as for most of the resent Acebeam flashlights.

Value for money
There are certainly cheaper competitors out there, but this light is very well built, has strong performance, and the package includes the most of wath you need. (You have to order the battery's tough). This is a flashlight for thus who appreciate high performance in a handy format.
